Shared Body’s “Water Residency” is an invitation and open residency for collective engagement with water as technology. From April 25 - May 5, there will be a series of synchronous and asynchronous and in-person and online activations (readings, journal prompts, rituals, performances, conversations, medicine making, dreaming, etc) free & open to all.

You can think of this as a temporary space to go deeper into the magic of water in your daily life and own practices while also having a fluid container to share, learn, and be curious alongside others.

As I’ve been exploring the residency containers within my own life as an artist, I’m curious on how we can continue to expand them through moving beyond isolated modes of inquiry and exclusivity. As I’ve been doing my own research, I often notice how others around me are asking similar questions and engaging with related prompts. I learn so much from the world around me and my peers. This format was inspired by Sonia Kiran (Raver Jinn)’s Gatebreaking Manifesto and desires to imagine a format of engagement that embraces shared knowledge, shared resources, open access, and fluid participation.
